Performing Arts is a form where the individual performs in front of an audience through various forms such as dance, drama/role plays and singing activities. To make a profession in Performing Arts field, one has to obtain formal training in the chosen area of specialization. Those students who intend to make a career in this field have to be well versed with many sub-fields also. As this field has a host of specializations such as dance (western/classical), singing, music composition, theatre, sound design etc. it entails that students are sure about their area of interest. Performing Arts stream is meant for those individuals who get an adrenaline rush by performing on stage in plays, stage-shows, singing and dancing competitions, shows etc. There are three main branches under performing Arts, namely, music, dance & drama.
